Chicago and Midland

Rick had a conference in Chicago last week, so a few weeks ago he told Caleb he was going on a plane to Chicago soon. Caleb talked about it every day after that. "Daddy, you're going on a BIG PLANE! You're going to CHICAGO!" It was very exciting, apparently. We built up all this anticipation for Caleb to get to see the planes ... then realized it was dark at 4 am when we dropped Rick off. He got to see a few though.

Rick took 4 cars with him (one for each of our family) so we could go "with" him to Chicago. Caleb got a HUGE kick out of it!

And Rick up there, too.

Here is the family looking at books:

And watching Alistair Begg preach. (I'm SO jealous!)

And of course, eating Chicago style pizza!

Meanwhile, we went to Midland! It was a blast, although Caleb was sick the whole time, so we had to take it very slow.
