Caleb: How do you get to heaven?
Me: You have to be perfect.
Caleb: Or we can blast off in a spaceship to heaven. It's somewhere in the sky.
Me: Spaceships can't get there. Only God knows the way. You have to never sin.
Caleb: God and Jesus never sin.
Me: That's right, but everybody else sins, don't we?
Caleb: Yes.
Me: God is so loving though, he sent Jesus to die in our place. We can't know God, or be in Heaven with Him, unless we're perfect. Jesus said he'd take our punishment for sin, so God doesn't have to punish us. God punished Jesus, and can put our sin away from us. So if we are Christians, and if Jesus is our Lord, God sees us as perfect, and Jesus invites us to heaven.
Caleb: Yeah. But who invites Jesus?
